He stopped using this move and I suspect it's because of the impact his knees take. This was actually one of his finishers for a short time, to echo Taker's Last Ride, but watch the vid again and look at Kane's knees. That's a pretty serious bump to take whenever you want to execute a finisher.

If he landed on his knees he made it safer for his oponent but his knees took alot of impact from it.
Glad he stoped to use that powerbomb.

What I love about this is that Kane is big enough, strong enough, and surely visually intimidating to just use the standard version, but his decision to use a falling variation is what made him unique.

Glenn Jacobs didn’t like doing Powerbombs because his shoulders were too big and he couldn’t get full extension like the undertaker did. Unreal.

2002 kane was so strong & agile...literally used to jump from top rope.
His match with Bigshow used to be so iconic...bigshow hitting flying drop kick like nothing.
2 heavyweights moving like cruiserweights.
