This is the biggest beach on this island. The ±4 km long beach is laid across the two villages of Scala Potamia and Scala Panagia. It's ±13 km away from Limenas, has plenty of parking for visitors and it’s the best beach for kids. There is room between the sunbeams and the water for them to play. The sand is soft, perfect for sandcastles, and the water is shallow for more than 100 m.

Unfortunately, the beautiful day was interrupted, time after time, by the restless helicopters that were fighting the fire in the mountains. But, what matters is that we are safe because the island is prepared and has a huge and fantastic crew that is reinforced if needed. Apparently, the island is susceptible to fires and the same are yearly occurrences.

There is a possibility for all sorts of sport-activities on the beach, like scorers, pedaling, parachutes e.c.t.

The are a lot of bars, taverns, and accommodations along the beach. Most beach bars have a minimum of 5 EUR/sunbed consumption.

Water Quality Grade: 10/10 - EXCELLENT!

I totally recommend this beach! The best beach for kids on the island!
