Whitney this is the last video of yours I’ll be seeing in a while as I’m leaving for Marine boot camp on Monday. I’ve watched every video on the channel and have improved my oral health significantly. Thank you for what you do!

I once had a cracked tooth due to cavity, needed a week to get scheduled, and the salt mouthwash really helped me get through the week before the appointment.

When I had tonsils, salt water rinses were my best friend

I do this for a day or so when I get back from the dentist after a clean as I ended up with an infection a few years ago. I think the hygienist went too deep and the bad stuff got pushed further into the gum. A week later the dentist had to lance the gum with a spikey thing and prescribe antibiotics. She felt very bad about it.

Hi Whitney! Thanks so much for all of your videos and for educating everyone on how better to look after their oral health. You are AMAZING! After my cleaning today, my hygienist told me to rinse twice a day for a couple of days as my gums are a little tender and I have 2 questions about the salt water rinse that I forgot to ask:
1) How many days is a couple of days? Should I rinse twice a day for 2 days or 3?
2) and should I rinse before or after brushing my teeth?

Thank you so much once again! You are an inspiration and both your videos and advice are appreciated by many people ❤️💞

Will salt water help gums from redecing more? I have a mouthwash that claims to fight plaque ans remove bacteria, would salt water work just as good/ better?
Sorry for so many questions but: how often should I really use salt water (how many days a week) and how much salt should I use, is tap water or bottled water best?

Any questions answered would be appreciated 😅

Please make a video on how to care for teeth after dental cleaning so that plaque doesn't deposit again and gaps get filled

Hey, Ms. Whitney, TTG! Another great & informative video. Sometimes I rinse w/ salt water (mixed w/ iodized table salt). Whenever I have canker sores, I just put salt directly onto them for at least a min. & then rinse out. Yeah, it burns nicely! However, I've found that's the best method of taking care of them, and they seem to disinfect & heal quicker. What do you think?

Could you possibly do a video on the difference on sugar v sweeteners. I’ve cut out sugar from my drinking and replaced them with sweeteners but is sweeteners really that much better?

Hi, thank you for this. Do you recommend a certain type of salt? Himalayan Pink? Celtic Grey? Iodized? Table salt? Also, can you do a video of using baking soda as a toothpaste or rinse? I mix baking soda with a little pink Himalayan and add a fresh clove -- sometimes I brush with that mixture, sometimes just use as a gargle with warm water. What do you think of fresh cloves to help with gums/breath? Thank you!
