Place of Gateway put 192.168.1.1

In internet protocol version 4 u have to type :
192.168.1.1
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.254

At CMD you have to type :
ping 192.168.1.254

Pleasure is mine ; ) as it is repeater or Access point its build for use with out cable, u don't need to connect with nothing just put at end point of ur wifi range and it will extend the signal, best of luck :)

thanks for this it helped a ton! one question, can i move the AP anywhere without the need to connect the LAN cable, but still work? or must it always be connected to a computer?

Buenas tardes. Compré un AP TP-Link TL-901ND 300Mbps, y necesito configurarlo como Repetidor Universal, pero no sé cómo hacerlo para que no tenga conflictos con el Router inálambrico que tengo. Vi su video pero no hablo inglés y como vi que usted vive en Argentina, se me ocurrió escribirle a ver si puede poner este video, que se ve muy bueno y muy completo, también en español para los que vivimos en Suramérica y no hablamos inglés. Gracias!!!

Hey Harry, I bought this Access point yesterday and I'm not able to set it up. I live on-campus so I just connect to the internet through a LAN cable. The problem is I can't set it up because when I connect it I get this error when I trouble shoot : "DNS is not responding." 

What I did was connecting the cable from the port to my Access Point and then connect to the Wi-Fi with laptop, but it doesn't connect to internet. I just have succesfully connected to the Access Point, but not the internet.

Pleasure!!! bro use intenet explorer firefox and chrome not works with this properly, if still not worked than reconnect all and do all again, read video description i have few more videos it will clear the concept for u, best of luck :)

Harry, thanks for video - helped me get the repeater mode set up.  However, I am trying to use with Foscam Cameras.  I place the router next to camera.  I can connect to router from my computer but camera and router are not talking.  I called TPLink, they said I had to open a port on the router for the camera.  I am still waiting on instructions to do this (which I don't think will come).  Do you know what he is talking about?

Hello Harry! I have the ASUS RT-N12 D1, which could be a router/AP/repeater. Do you know it? When I set it up as a repeater it ask me these stuff I do not understand, like 1) Default gateway; 2)Preferred DNS server; 3)Alternate DNS server and 4) Domain Suffix Search order. Thanks for your reply!

Hi there, i followed every single step from your video but i'm not able to complete my configuration because under Wireless>Wireless Security it didnt have the option for WPA/WPA2 Security option. There's only WEP and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK option. Why is that so ? I can't carry on because my Wifi is on WPA/WPA2 security. Please help, thankyou very much !

hi i want to buy one of these to connect a wifi internet connection from my modem to a switch and other ethernet to computers is it possible to have this device recieve a wifi internet signal then share that through the ethernet port on the back to a switch and then share over a network
