Hollow Knight- Dream Nail Quick Location Guide in Resting Grounds

The Dream Nail is required to get to the true ending of Hollow Knight. This video will go over a step by step guide on how to find the Dream Nail which is located in the Resting Grounds just under the Crystal Peak.

Looks like I'll use this route instead since I'm trying to do a minimal abilities/no upgrades run, otherwise I'd just use the path through the blue lake. Even on my seventh or so playthrough of the game your videos are still a godsend XD

Few ways to get to Resting Grounds
(i) Lantern Path
1. Get 1800 Lantern (Geo be hard to git in early game)
2. Get to Crystal Peak (via Down path)
3. Navigate your way through the dark path of jumping this video showed
(ii) Non- Lantern Path
1. Go to City of Tears
2. Beat Soul Master to get desolate dive
3. Go to Crystal Peak (Up there, smash)
4. Go ALLL the way up then right, then down then right (from memory)
5. Get Crystal Dash
6. Go back to Charm Lover Salubra (To the right of Forgotten Crossroads station iirc)
7. Jump to the top of the wall to the right of Grub mother fight, Crystal Dash.
8. You have found the lake
(iii) This is the frequented speedrunning route that you unfortunately can't do in Steel Soul :(
1. Go to Charm Lover Salubra.
2. Die.
3. Come Back to Charm Lover Salubra.
4. Jump on your ghost and find your way to lake.

IMO. If you're a beginner to Hollow Knight, just randomly play wherever you want. There's no rush. Enjoy the journey rather than searching on youtube.
If you're a veteran. Come on you noob- memorise the map at this point.
