I only have one thing to say about this performance. Gary, Paul, Chris, Cedric, Rrussel and Billy, thank you.

How unusual that Gary Numan stood behind the drummer and the various keyboard players!

Something happened when this came out. It all changed. It’s still brilliant and who said you can’t have synths with a real drum kit!

This song was way ahead of it's time

I'd marvel that this was probably a full decade before its time, but its 'time' wouldn't have come if not for Gary Numan. Genuine visionary.

Cedric Sharpley: What a funky amazing drummer he was; he really brought some great feel into the layers of electronics R.I.P Cedric.

The sick paranoid look in gary’s eyes is what brings this song to a higher level.

First time I've seen this since I saw it broadcast. I fell for this music big time. R.I.P. Paul Gardiner and Cedric Sharpley.

Even with teenagers, now. If you pull up outside a school to pick up your son or daughter, it's STILL aceptablely cool. Job done Mr Numan. It's a timeless classic*

This may be the only time in a pop song where the drummer is moving more than anyone else on the stage.

The man was ahead of his time .. fashion, hair style and of course his music .. you can throw him easily in 2018 and no one will notice shot.
