I've an experience of about 6 years as a Full Stack Java Developer, now I got picked in the H1B lottery results announced recently and it was through a consultancy and they're preparing to file for my visa, however I'm told I've to bear the visa application fee amounting to $5000. You mentioned in the video that one of your friends got placed in IT companies with the help of a consultant who was a Civil Engineer where he got laid off. So my query is that can we switch careers from Civil to IT? My understanding is that if we do Masters in Civil Engineering, we have to work in the same field. Please let me know.

There are no vacancy if we apply normally but through consultancy more vacancies wah no place to talent such a shit country and universities in usa.
Reality of us students: for assignment they pay to sme agency get it done
For jobs pay to consultancy get job
Pls don't give minimum respect to people who gonna or studying in usa

Hey, Omkar, could you please tell me how these consultancies take students is it like a walk-in or will there be an interview for consultancies as well, because they will be giving us a stipend and do we need to pay anything for that or everything will be after getting a job? it would be really helpful 🙂.
