Destination: Salalah, Oman Khareef Season

Salalah is one of very few places in the Arabian peninsula that experiences a monsoon season, which is called Khareef and lasts from July to September. Khareef means “autumn” in Arabic but it refers to monsoon when describing Salalah. During this time, the brown landscape of Salalah and its surroundings is completely transformed to a beautiful and lush green, and locals and tourists alike flock to Salalah.

5yrs.I've been working in Oman.i came on 2015 til 2020.and I got assigned in Salalah..
very nice place.mostly during khareef, so many beautiful places to visit.
in this country also I met my behalf/destiny.

Oman is beautiful country. Omani people are very good and gentle men. I lived there for 12 years in Muscat. Sultan Qaboos was the great leader who changed Oman in to modern state.

I lived in Doha, Qatar for a few years. I flew into Oman during the monsoon and thought I was a rain forest, it was amazing.

Oman is surely beautiful. The best thing is you can not only visit but knowing local Omani there. They are very opened for foreigner. I have many Omani friends. All very humble and friendly.

I just came back from Oman to US. We drove very short trip to the west I belive where huge mountains and trees that almost make the road like trees towel.
