IF I need to curl after straightening, I lower the heat for my clients and definitely do larger sections. I'm glad I've been doing this to protect their tresses. But usually, I like to curl right after blow drying. I'm loc'd now but used to go to someone for trims and do most other things myself. I'm also a licensed stylists so, yeah.

I visit the salon for color every 4 weeks. On alternate visits, I get a trim, thanks to your advice. I should never have a flatiron or hair cutting scissors in my possession at any time!

I went to the dry bar because I didn’t feel like blow drying my own hair. Huge mistake! My hair looks relaxed after all the heat damage 😢

I typically trim my hair on my own but not well. I def need someone to tell me exactly what I need off cause I know it’s not great. But I’ve never liked going to the salon. I might go once or twice a year to support a friend but I don’t like going.
