Nils Frahm | Hammers | Cover

Hi all!

I have been planning on recording this piece probably for the past two years. Finally, today was the day! I love love love this piece by Nils Frahm, it is so energetic and fun to play.

Don't let that fool you though, it took me endless takes to get this one, I think I must have attempted to record for 4-5 hours straight this morning.

I still can't play it as well as Nils. I for sure wouldn't be able to pull this off live on stage, on properly weighted concert grand keys. My digital piano keys are so worn out and fluffy in comparison, which makes it much easier to play.

Anyway, I do hope you like it.

When listening to this piece, it's almost as if I'm listening to a presentation of my life, 1000 miles an hour haha Very nice Alex! :D I remember the first time listening to you play, and it was more than 10 years ago. You made a cover of Ludovico, i went to see Ludovico. And now, I'm about to buy my first ever piano. This is because of you, you inspired me. Took me some time to committ to get one, but better now than never :) Thank you Alex! This is cool! I wish you made a cover of "night" by Einaudi! I listen to all Einaudi songs and night is in my top 10 from his pieces very very good piece. You have many of his pieces but pretty sure you never recorded night
