You are a freaking rockstar, sir thank you for this video. You have no idea well you do. I can fit a whole other plant were my fan used to be. I tried using the 2 x 4 and just using zip ties to hold the 2 x 4 in place but it always ends up moving in a whole fans slides over. Yeah this is a great video. Well done.

This was EXACTLY what I needed. It was a pain trying to find a clip on fan bigger than 6". I was able to find the offset flange at Lowe's.

How’s it holding up ? I’d be worried with slight wobbling and loosening the slide bolts causing the fan to crash

I think it's best to do this before you completely put together the tent. Looks very clean and sturdy.

Can't I just put a fan on the floor and point it upwards as the plant gets taller?

Ive noticed there is a shortage of good reliable tent fans for sale. And a lot of them, you cant even fully adjust how they mount with the proper angles as the plants get taller. Im working with a manufacturer using quality parts like a copper motor instead of aluminum and a better mounting design. Im working towards a fan that will actually last and also provide good air movement. What do you all think a good price would be? Im thinking about $40 because I didnt skimp on quality parts. Do you think that sounds a fair? Do you think I may be better off using some cheaper parts to get price point down so I can offer it cheaper? Or stick with a quality construction and charge a bit more for it? I plan on selling them on Amazon really soon but would love some feedback first. If you are interested, please contact me
