Apple fanboys made fun of Note 3 users and Lumia 1520 users for huge screens saying "no one needs a phone that big, ours is more refined." Now they will be claiming they wanted this all along and how much better it is than their competitors.

I love Apple's build quality and finish on their products, but why don't they listen to consumers and react with a product they want in a reasonable time frame?

Everyone who I know that has a iPhone likes the fact that they can hold it with one hand and always hated on my phone (Android) for being to big. And yet here we are making the biggest ass damn phone possible with gigantic bezels.

Personally, I think it looks to be a good thing for the iPhone to increase its screen size. It seems to be what is currently in demand and I could see myself enjoying some more screen real estate. However, I will be interested to see how Apple markets it. Especially to people who will have to use their phone with 2 hands.
