I had the privilege of meeting and speaking with Kevin in the early 2000's at a World Gym he owned. As someone who competed in AAU Bodybuilding Contests in the 1960's we had a nice conversation. I followed his professional career for many years and was disappointed that he was never crowned Mr. Olympia due to politics at that level. Still a very nice, approachable guy and I'm glad that he is still looking so good at his age.

So i agree with Kevin's attitude so much. In 2009 2015 and again this march i was diagnosed and treated for a massive reoccurring brain tumor. Muscle saved my life. Going from 230lbs of muscle getting ready for a show then losing 80lbs during bodybuilding saved my life. I got back into bodybuilding again and i was able to father a boy Owen and a girl Jayda. True story...My son facetimed me yesterday...I take the call and see him at a sushi place with Mr. Levrone!!!!...I was just blown away by how humble, pleasant and kind he was, to allow my son to ring me up so that they could both say "hi"!...my son told me they spoke for like 10 min!...God Bless you Mr. Levrone...you are a true champion and a good man!
