Damn this is slick, but unlike most slick marketing videos something legitimately awesome was actually accomplished. Fantastic work.

6 years later on the same day, Falcon 9 completed its 100th successful landing on 2021 Dec. 21st, after the CRS-24 mission. B1069, a brand new booster flew a Cargo Dragon to the ISS as the 31st and final launch of 2021, marking the 26th consecutive successful landing in a landing streak.

And now she stands as a monument outside their Hawthorne facility. It's starting to look like we're heading towards a second Space Age, and I'm looking forward to the results. :)

To all the naysayers who said it couldn't be done.... just amazing, congrats Elon, and all the amazing engineers at SpaceX for showing it can be done.

Goosebumps. The sheer audacity of us to challenge what is present now and to rage on to a better tomorrow is perhaps best seen here

One year ago today. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I still watch this video when I need personal motivation because it truly inspires. SpaceX employees cheered like their team had just won the super bowl. We are one step closer to finally becoming a true space fairing species!

Probably one of the most incredible things I've ever seen in my life. Knowing the significance of this landing for human spaceflight and how many years the engineers worked tirelessly to make this a reality, I can't help but to feel the greatest pride for what SpaceX has accomplished. I joke about the random and trivial things I would tell my grand kids when I get older, but this event will be one of my few legitimate stories about how we landed a rocket for the first time (excluding the Blue Origin rocket landing...while impressive, not nearly as grand).

Every time I watch this - I almost cry. I still remember the excitement I felt when was watching this live and was like this 1st stage is my own child.

Thank you Elon Musk and all SpaceX for doing what you are doing, you are great!

This will go down in history as the moment that defines humanity as a space-faring species, more so than the moon landing. I do not understand why not more people see the significance of this moment. Must have watched it more than a hundred times and my eyes still wet :-)
