It lit up the atmosphere? Is that something you could actually see from earth? Would it have to be night time? Would it look like an aurora or something? Sorry, I'm a newbie to this stuff. Thank you so much for reporting this... I have been all over helioviewer and have had difficulty getting data from... 7:00:00UTC to 15:00:00UTC. I was able to view activity from this time only through the goes x-ray flux imager. I would like for you to look at it and tell me what that is to the upper right of the coronal hole... a bright spot appears and then a big bright ribbon. The time on the goes x-ray flux imager is 07:16:00UTC - 08:26:00UTC then there is missing data until 09:58:00UTC and it continues until 10:00:00UTC and later. This stuff is so exciting! Thanks again for all you do!

Going beyond satellites, cell phones and the internet going down, what about people who are on life support in the hospital or people using ventricular assist devices? Its easy to think about everyday things that would be effected by the power grid getting blasted by the sun but there could be a severe effect on a human level as well

Now all of the Chemtrail spraying in the sky today adds up. They usually start spraying once NOAA's M-Class flare probability gets up to 40-50% anyways

Here is something to ponder. at 6:15 am which side of the planet is facing the sun? If you know this then you will know the area of the spot hitting n this spot is not exactly correct. Enjoy that thought.
