Not learning to budget and not having a growth mindset are really the 2 root causes of all these mistakes. You have to cut the roots to kill the weeds in your life. Awesome video!

Awesome video! Definitely agree with the importance of being open and honest with your significant other about your finances being on the same page as life-changing! ☕

Creating a plan is critical. It gives you a roadmap to follow when life gets in the way.

Money is such an important topic and I agree that mindless or emotional shopping makes us bad on our money..its so important to ask ourselves what's our need is than our want..I always love to talk about money in my channel. Loved the video Ashlynne❤❤

Money is such an all-emcompassing topic that shows its face in every aspect of how we live. Thank you for bringing light to this, and may the coming generations (and us current ones!) take steps to be good stewards over our $.

I love the simplicity of your kitchen! I don't enjoy a lot of word art, wallpaper borders, vertical blinds or a tuscan kitchen.

I love talking about money, its like the central theme on my channel :) People need to talk more about money so Im glad you made this video! A big mistake a lot of people make is putting money in their IRA or 401k and not investing in anything! If you dont allocate those funds its just sitting in cash and not growing! Big mistake to avoid! I also think financing a brand new vehicle is a mistake, nothing depreciates faster. Even if you go with something 2-3 years old you have saved a ton of money.

Hey Ashlynne- you mentioned considering if a purchase is a want or need but it's often really hard to figure that out. It would be great if you could do a video about that with strategies to help reduce the feeling of needing stuff. Love your channel!!

Just a happy reminder from a teacher! **""for Christopher and ME"** (not "for Christopher and I") You are already so poised and well-spoken! I hope this reminder is helpful and not annoying. I love your content! (If you're unsure, just try out the phrase without the other person's name: you wouldn't say "it was easy FOR I", but it was easy FOR ME").

Emergency fund is so key! I had to use mine to buy a used car in a pinch, I was so thankful to have that option and not go into debt.
