This gentleman is as steady as a rock and so consistent in his rate of change. He certainly knows his welding and he knows when to apply the bells and whistles on his electronic supply source. Sir, I feel that you deserve the highest and heartiest congratulations. He treat that stainless steel as if it was part of himself and tries not to cause it any pains! Marvelous man.

Beautiful work.  I really like the smaller weld, it looks super clean.

Thanks, kinda what I thought. I have used water jackets on some applications and they worked real well. Just wasn't sure about stainless. Thanks

I have heard that steel + Aluminum together can cause a chemical reaction and oxidization and pitting in the aluminum over time. Is this not a concern with 316 Stainless?

If you water cooled your block, would that help distortion?

One would think Lincoln Electric would have the technology to show what the puddle looks like while welding. lame
