Baltimore Ravens linebacker Malik Harrison was shot in Cleveland on Sunday, his team announced on Monday afternoon.

"On Sunday night while attending a gathering in Cleveland, Malik Harrison sustained a non-life-threatening injury after being struck by a stray bullet in the left calf," the Ravens said in a statement. "Malik, who received medical care at a local hospital, has been in touch with our team doctors and will return to Baltimore today."

According to a report filed by Cleveland Police, the incident occurred outside the Dunkin' Donuts at East 9th and Rockwell. The report states that officers who were already responding to a call for gunshots among a large crowd in the area heard initially heard 10-15 shots fired, followed by a second volley of 8-10 shots.

Officers arrested four individuals in connection with the incident and also interviewed Harrison, who had been taken to a hospital. The linebacker told police that he was in a nightclub when a fight broke out and security kicked everyone out. People in the crowd outside began to run after seeing someone with a firearm firing shots.

An off-duty officer told police that the suspect vehicle in the situation was a white Dodge Charger.

The officers found the vehicle and pulled it over. According to police, four suspects were taken out of the vehicle and taken into custody.

During a search of the vehicle, police said they found two loaded guns.

Officers found that one of the suspects, Lance Brown II, had a head injury and was transported to a hospital.

The four suspects, Darius McDonald, Donnelle Dearmond Steven Coulter and Brown were all arrested and charged with inducing panic, vandalism and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Coulter was also charged with driving under a suspended license.
