I bought one of these from a DIYer several years ago, but came to YouTube to see what else I could do to make it more stable. So, maybe not, but WHY it never crossed my mind to install a hook or something to keep it from coming out beyond the fridge and cabinet….I have no excuse! Thank you so much for that invaluable and very necessary safety feature. It’ll make all the difference in my comfort level of using it now.

Thank you for this. I'm going to have a gap between my vanity & the wall in the bathroom & I wanted something to fill the space. I was looking at making it like a drawer, but trying to find the right slides was proving a major pita. I think this would be a much better option & would be significantly easier to build. The hooks as stops to keep it from pulling all the way out are a great idea!
Using the speed square for aligning the screws was also a cool trick.
This is going to make my bathroom project much easier.
