I'd love to see it do the same shot, say on a par 3, many times over. The variation in the results would give an idea on how much a shot is influenced by wind, how the ball bounces when it lands etc.

We can only wish that golf balls can be played from exactly the same spot on a warm sunny day. A robot that can calculate all condition variables on an 18-hole game would be interesting.

I have a challenge: build and train a human-like robot that can play a round of Golf at Pro level. And complete the full 18 holes below par. You will impress customers and investors who actually have money to spend. Just imagine how much of a step forward it would demonstrate. Hey, put a skirt on it to really spark interest. I see it as the "Moon Stot" for AI. Tip* Get the feet right.
