They’re too similar for either to be the “right” choice. You can’t beat GMC’s value proposition here especially with the level of execution they’ve achieved on the current gen Denali and this new D. Ultimate trim(s). Truly unprecedented levels of quality and craftsmanship for the GMC brand. The Cadillac takes it up another notch with the attention to detail and luxury. Then the technology overcomes you once you settle in the driver’s seat and realize the wall of OLED display that your eyes naturally relax to because of the contrast in the deep blacks. It’s a very calming display believe it or not, and the sound system is like nothing else in any automobile currently on sale. My sister’s company shipped and delivered Rolls Royce, mind you. I know quality. The Cadillac buyer doesn’t care about the price, they just want to know when will their Escalade be delivered. They both are American luxury icons in their own right.🔥💨

This reminds me of when people ask what’s better; Toyota or Lexus. If you want a nice looking suv inside and out you get the Yukon. If you want a nice looking suv inside and out but with a name to it you, get the Escalade. Same goes for the Toyota vs Lexus imo.

I like the look of the Yukon more. Also like the buttons. Other reviews state the Escalade is more luxurious inside. I didn’t see that.

Yukon. Truck resemblance to the sierra makes the gmc an easy pick for me. Also quad exhaust tips way cooler

My dream car used to be the Escalade, but I don’t like the new grill they rolled out in comparison to the GMC. Luxury is luxury though. Still want the Escalade for childhood reasons.

i disagree with you on their appearance.. IMO the denali is much "flashier"....design wise... from every angle... wheels, grille, side adornment, and rear... the ONLY advantage of the caddy is the Badge... people that want to be seen in an escalade should by the caddy... but the GMC is clearly the more attractive unit here... I personally test drove both and bought the Denali... didn't like the Caddy center stack... not as uselful as the caddy... where the caddy put an "un needed" shifter, the GMC offers space to put your "stuff"... it felt more cramped in the caddy because the center stack sits higher.... One HUGE complaint I have however for both vehicles is that you are forced to buy an onstar plan because without it you have NO Navigation and basically end up with just and am fm radio... absolutely rediculous for 100K vehicles... I traded my RAM 1500 Longhorn which had its own NAV and a sharper/better display than these two because I no longer needed a pickup... Still loving the Denali, but it does have its shortfalls... good review...

The center console on the gmc slides back and has a hidden component, that’s why it’s not as deep!

Honestly i like the Cadillac Escalade and Yukon Denali equally. Since i like them equally I'd pick Yukon over the Escalade because it's less expensive.
