I would like to hear more from Sen Murphy. The first time I became aware of who he was, he gave an emotional yet powerful speech from the Senate floor on May 24, 2024, when the Uvalde tragedy happened. I recall the strongest message, imo, "What are we doing?" And, today, another school sho oting just happened. WHY?!

When I pointed this out to a MAGA, he said 'that's because it was a bad bill. When I pointed out that the Republican negotiator, Senator Lankford, who is not only a conservative, southern Republican, but also a Baptist minister, supported the final bill, he tried to call Lankford a RINO.
There are a lot of reasons I hope Trump is defeated and spends the rest of his life in prison, but chief among them is I want to go back to having a concrete definition of reality.
