Loving these videos! I hope you'll show us all planets retrogradation 🤩

It's like us. Sometimes it may seem like we are going backwards, but it is just an optical illusion. We are always moving forward.

Everyone needs to watch this, so they can stop blaming Mercury being in "retrograde" for all their problems.

Excellent visualization of retrograde motion. And retrograde motion of the inner planets is something the flat earthers have NO explanation for. The flat earth model can’t predict solar or lunar eclipses or account for planetary motion, and it can’t be used to calculate ballistic trajectories of spacecraft.

Flat earth is a broken model but they won’t admit it.

Mercury just casually drew a happy face

That one moment of intersection i held my breathe because i really wanted it to match and not just go. Tiny point over it. I AM SATISFIED

Fun fact: the wikipedia animation of this has a small note that adds: "a retrograde cannot affect human affairs"

Retrograde motion is so fascinating. The fact that something as simple as perspective could throw off astronomers for so long.

The motion diagram is a clear way of demonstrating the optical illusion Mercury makes.
My young at the time son and I were almost back to land after sailing and saw something, maybe hot air balloon, in front of the sun, low on the western sky. The sky was covered with a thin cloud layer. But a balloon wouldn't be all that high. We could still see it from on the house roof after arriving home. Later, we learned from a friend it was Mercury making a transit. Highly engaging..

The universe is so poetic in some way.

that was a very clear description. This is the kind of short videos that should be popular

People really need to understand that all motion is relative. Orbits are circular and pretty relative to the sun, relative to us they are janky and strange
