What he says it right . Steve Jobs was a visionary and there is a fine line between visionary and lunacy .

Say what you must with Tim Cook on the team - Apple had a great leadership team

Cook became COO in Jan 2007... he came to Apple in 1998 when Steve already got the company back on track. He is half right, Steve learned to adopt the role of manager in his 2nd iteration, but it was Steve himself not Tim.

Tim is really a good manager, his most important contribution was cost cutting that saved apple Tone of cash. Tim is good & deserves to be CEO but Steve was 🔥

Steve Jobs was a visionary. But things don't become a reality until it's implemented properly!!! Tim Cook was the implementer who made the dreams come true!!! Now, you know the difference between these two guys and their tasks!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

This I can agree. Am a COO myself and know what I've contributed towards success of the company.

In business there are visionaries and integrators. There are tons of visionaries, they have so many ideas, but they have no endurance to build it. An integrator can take one of those ideas and execute a plan for it. Integrators become executives and ops leaders. Think this concept is from the book Whitewater.

If thia guy (Aswath Damodaran) says something about a company (importantly: valuation) you gotta believe it. This guy correctly valued zomato's share at 44 INR and Adani's overvalued stock

Without a great leader, you are just an ordinary worker :)

If you have read Steve Jobs' biography, you would have noticed the Steve himself acknowledged that Tim Cook was to be his successor. Also, Steve just represented John Ives vision publicly. It was not a one man show at all.
