When it comes to energy storage, we should try to avoid assuming EVs are going to replace all our cars. I think 50% would be lucky. Hopefully 1/3. Furthermore, swappable batteries with much lower capacities would also change the figures for total EV battery storage on the grid.

I’m surprised this talk omitted Highview’s liquid air batteries which can store energy for months with almost no energy loss and the larger the storage capacity, the cheaper the cost per KWh.
