Boris Johnson has apologised for the “offence” caused by the leaked footage which shows Downing Street staff joking about a Christmas party at No 10 last year.

The prime minister said he had asked the cabinet secretary to investigate claims of a festive party on 18 December last year – telling MPs at PMQs that he was “furious” at footage of aides laughing about the issue.

allegra stated she didn't even attend the party - yes the mocking is deeply insensitive - but what is worse is those who attended and now are burying their heads in the sand hoping they aren't to be picked out next. our government is full of self-serving weasels. those in and attendance must be exposed and proper punishments must be enforced.

My mom went to hospital with a water infection, they were about to let her out for rehabilitation or whatever but somehow she caught covid in hospital. Even though she was Asymptomatic and has been scientifically proven that asymptomatic people cant pass on covid they would not let her leave the hospital. Unfortunately she kept catching hospital infections and in the end died in hospital after 11 weeks. Obviously it went down as a covid death but im just glad we were able to spend those last few hours together and say goodbye...it hurts me how so many people have died in a room full of strangers looking round for there sons and daughters and husbands and wives ....what the fuck is going on its 2021 we are going backwards not forwards

They broke all guidelines . Lockdown wasn’t lifted until December 2nd then stricter tier 3 lockdown rules were put into place . I think there is more to come out and Boris will have to stand down…hopefully

As for Stratton - no sympathy. We witnessed her true self in that video - when the guard was down. The tears are cringeworthy.
