It was only an unfortunate accident. Nothing more. That person had no bad intention so filing any criminal charges would be absolutely pointless. I wish a full and speedy recovery for everyone involved. Fortunately their country offers an affordable and accessible healthcare for all its residents, a luxury we don't have in the U.S.

The lift operator is supposed to put the T bar between your legs. This guy had no chance hanging on with only his hands. Then the slope was really icy, so no one could avoid the collisions. Just bad luck all around.
