Our next video focuses on the NTP100-GPS NTP Time Server from Masterclock.

The NTP100-GPS network protocol time server (NTP) from Masterclock synchronises to GPS satellites and sends NTP reference signals to NTP devices via Ethernet.

When synchronised to the atomic clocks in GPS and GLONASS satellites, the long term accuracy of the device is the same as the atomic clock of the GNSS.

An internal TCXO (temperature-compensated crystal oscillator) provides holdover stability of ± 1 min/year during GPS signals loss, and an optional OCXO (oven-controlled crystal oscillator) increases holdover stability to ± 250ms/year.

Well specified for such a compact unit, perfect for most sectors where legally traceable time is critical. Good as it is with TCXO but can be upgraded to OCXO for minimal drift over a year (+/- 250ms), that's pretty darn good by anyone's standards and ideal for GNSS starved environments where space is a premium.
