But seriously, as a big Muramasa fan, I hope he gets a buff. I was fine with him before, but with all the already powerful servants getting buffs lately, Muramasa getting a buff too would be amazing for me.

I cannot deny I’m biased with my Muramasa (NP7 due to 6th copy being a double, 120, Skills 10/10/10, Appends 10/10/10, all Cards +500, HP and Attack +2000) but the answer is yes, he’s worth it. He loop. He attack. He self charge. He is compatible with Double-Castoria, and a third charger, he’s Oberon Compatible due to the ramping of his NP. Sure, he might get outclassed by a later Servant in Farming, but I take mine with me everywhere. Farming. CQs. Story fights where I literally have no idea who I’m fighting. And every. Single. Time. He proves my investment into him was worth. If you wanna make him do work… shoot for NP3, for that 20% Starting Charge, and level 120. To be fair, if you gotta be economical, leaving his charge at 10% is also fine, with Double Castoria and his 50% battery he can turn 1 NP with no starting charge CE (Black Grail compatible, Damage CE with no Charge compatible, hell Event CEs if he’s got more than enough damage) and ultimately, he’s so powerful I take him into 90++ Archer Nodes and he can actually hit above the threshold to farm. (This was a meme to prove it COULD be done shit was still very tight don’t fucking do this I swapped to Lamdaryllis against the Archer 90++ Node after like an hour)

Yes. He’s worth it. Summon if you want him. I know I did.

Biggest advantage he has is his 50% charge and ability to do flexible damage such as piercing through invul and high single target damage through crits. His weakness is his most potent steroids are one turn and lacks defensive skills. He's definitely strong and is generally valuable as a unit and a fan fave.

HOWEVER...

His biggest competition in role is....Jason. 1 star availability (free summons and access to NP5), NP strengthening, stacking arts steroid, SO MANY STARS, and has some measure of survival.

The biggest wall Muramasa has to climb is that Jason can do most of what Muramasa can do but is significantly more available and costs nothing. You can even help close the gap in base stats with grails so the base numbers difference shrinks.

Ultimately, you draw him if you really like Emiya Shirou pretending to be an old man. If you need function, maybe if you need an AoE Saber with innate pierce invul but for the most part he's not really needed.

Got my NP6/+2000 attack Muramasa. Gonna get him up to Lv 110 at some point.
He's an amazing servant, but I hope they give him an interesting buff someday to make him even more so.

Currently on the Saber Kojirou Solo Fight, And after watching the Tsumakiri Muramasa Cutscene I decided to throw a few Multis at His Banner(Still have quartz for Oberon) I got Muramasa!

I have an NP3 murumasa. Can tell you he still gets a lot of use especially against annoying defensive boss fights

Muramasa and Takeru both have good points that make them good for different uses. Muramasa can be good for challenge quests with his ignore defense and ignore invincible. Yamato is good for farming due to his high np hit count and split np charge.

Muramasa is my go-to AOE Saber, but I do have Artoria, Saber Okita Alter, and Salter when I want to mix things up.

My NP2 Muramasa takes care of a lot of things, not only on farm but boss fights too, his crit potential is absurd, ppl forget that.

When his banner came out i got 2 muramasa's and a mordred in 1 ten pull and he was my first ever 5 star and i have to say he carried my ass in a lot of stuff in the story haha
