In my opinion one of the most beautiful and epic synth pop tracks ever released in former Soviet Union - can be found on Marina Zhuravleva's first LP "Поцелуй Меня Только Раз...", Melodiya label 1990, recorded in 1989. (С60 30157 000).

I don't know why, but whenever I listen to music of 1980s USSR and 1990s Russia, I feel a sort of melancholy and nostalgia, even though I'm not Russian myself. Very nice music

I love 1980s/90s Russian music. It makes me feel super nostalgic. I like listening to it a lot in the winter. This song is beautiful. I don’t really like ballads in the English language, but I love them in Russian. I feel as if the lyrics touch my soul in a lot of these songs, even if I don’t know what it means. I like looking at the lyrics translations.
