today I check out the new roblox legends battlegrounds update, an update we have been waiting for for almost as long as the roblox the strongest battlegrounds kj update. except this update wasn't quite worth the wait in my opinion...

Honestly its kinda sad, legends battlegrounds cant really compete with other battlegrounds due to its slow updates and current lack of variety in characters.

You’re missing the point. The Devs stated that they will ensure quality over quantity in their moves. They took so long to do this because they wanted to ensure the moves looked the best

Kinda upsetting that people hate on updates from certain battlegrounds games. Compared to other BGs like tsb or heroes battlegrounds where they add one move it’s perfectly fine, including the fact that some don’t understand the amount of effort it takes to even create these types of effects and animations.

Legends Battlegrounds has 4 devs, so im not surprised they only got one move for Jun. The impact frames for the finishers and the new move are really good, and for 3 months thats more than enough to make an update.

3 months to develop 4 cutscenes with a small dev team is honestly a lot of work, im happy with what they've made. this stuff takes a LONG time

The reason why i think it took them this long to add one move and do 4 finishers is theres only like 3 devs on the team but if they can pull something like this off than ill still be glad we got something anyways

this game has better combat than most tsb inspired games.. their lack of updates is really pushing them down

I think so many people are not realizing the fact that a finisher takes just as much effort as a normal base move, and seeing that 3 of the 4 finishers are cinematic cutscenes that automatically makes them take the amount of effort as a non cutscene ultimate move. do not talk back to me like it’s not I work with Roblox devs I know this kind of stuff. Knowing this that means this update has the effort of 1 regular base move, 3 regular ultimate moves, and 1 cutscene ultimate move. The fact that yall say this update took too long for what it was is crazy and you actually need to think about what the devs were working on during that time

people who compare this update to tsb's due to the time really need to think.

LBG has a smaller dev team, and probably dosent stress as much because there arent as many demands for an update.

they also put a lot more work into their game, one finisher for a character's base move as the same effects as ult moves in tsb.

also, small thing here. fumblit complained about one char needing you to pay a million robux for it... but tsb did the same thing, and only NOW its an issue?

they likely work on the game due to passion and not for the robux. TSB does everything it can for money, a lot of changes just show it.
