I have oily and acne prone skin plus hyperpigmentation. For years I spent tons of money on department store makeup products to try and hide my skin and flaws, when I should have spend those years investing time/$ in proper skincare (not to say all skincare is expensive). I LOVE rosehip oil for my dry skin- helps so much! I use it overnight mostly but I have used it as skin prep before makeup especially during winter. 🥰

I started trying this routine this week and I love it!!! It is definitely a lot of steps but my makeup stays all day as I have normal skin. Love this routine and was excited to see you try it out.

The first steps are very similar to how I do my makeup. I start with a great moisturizer, then the AOA Hydrating primer, then the Elf Poreless Putty primer. I also use the same LA Girl concealer shade, and mix two foundations (matte + more dewy), set with Elf Halo Glow powder, then the Catrice dewy setting spray. But with mature skin, I use very little foundation, and light toucheds of bronzer and blush. But it works!!
