New York City’s favorite down-town musical extravaganza, Joe McGinty and The Loser’s Lounge presents the multiple-episode streaming series “The Battle of the One Hit Wonders,” featuring hit songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and beyond! Each episode takes the concept of a “battle of the bands,” but instead of “bands” it pits two classic songs by “one hit wonder” artists against each other. During each show’s initial stream, YOU, the audience, will decide who wins, by commenting or “voting” for the "one hit wonder" that you love most. Tune in to each episode to find out which two classic “one hit wonder” songs Joe McGinty has selected for your listening pleasure, and as always don’t forget to vote!

What!? Ariel by The Losers Lounge!? Just goes to show u how much of a Loser I am. And I really am having seen 65 LL shows (very proud). This was one of my ATF songs and such a great job here, especially Joe with Dean’s voice inflections. Whenever I try to take my NJ friends to go into NYC to see LL, they ask me “what band are they doing?”, and I say, it’s Losers! What do you care? They could do the 1-800-Kars for Kids song and it will still be great. Thanks

When I heard about the One Hit Wonder thingy, I immediately thought the one I want to hear but they will never do is "Ariel". When you held up the 45 I fell out. I could write an essay but I will spare you. Over the moon, Joe. Thank you!

So I absolutely loved the song "Magic" from the first time I heard it back in '74, and Julian does a great job with it both vocally and guitar-wise. Having said that Joe nails "Ariel" (my vote) and it is so cool to hear a fairly obscure song like that covered by these talented musicians (I think even Dean would agree).
