hi sir, the mark scheme at 14:53 says that at (-8, 8) the gradient should be 0 and for coordinate (-8, 16) the gradient is -3. Is this the mark scheme wrong? because in your working out you had the gradients switched which is also what i got.

For the first problem 1:30 can we take the constant 6 to the LHS and then say the equation is equal to zero and then carry out the differentiation as it would lead to the same result?

Hey Sir, would it be possible to get some help answering a question please, I am not quite sure what type of question this falls under, but I am stuck on this question:

Show that y = e^2x (cos3x + sin3x) satisfies the equation d^2y / dx^2 - 4 dy/dx + 13y = 0

I tried to differentiate y = e^2x (cos3x + sin3x) using product rule and got dy/dx = e^2x (3cos3x - 3sin3x) + 2e^2x (cos3x + sin3x) and now I am really confused and stuck.

Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

5:00 is there a general way to know which side to bring the dy/dx to?
