Wow! Yikes! The ATM workers should be checking those when they are filling the machines with cash. But, as one person said...it may be a worker doing that. Terrible! 😮😳😕

This particular scam has been going on for years. Many cash points in my country are attached to supermarkets etc and nobody checks them. It’s not the shops responsibility, it’s the banks. As most people do online banking ( where I live anyway) the banks are mostly shut.

If it's an atm that's serviced by the branch the employees will report anything that is not right but that is only done when they are servicing it. A lot of times customers will let the branch know and then it gets reported. So yes the employee will report it if they see it but remember aa a customer/person you need to have situational awareness. If it doesn't look right don't use it.
