I’m so happy to finally after years of selling these new in the shop to be able to get myself one Brand New in the box.
Important to note this was the very first edition JVC Kameleon.
And this being a US model only gets odd frequencies on the radio and no RDS tuner as we got in Europe.
So for me this is even more rare than any other you may find in Europe, I’m betting this is the only brand new one in UK if not Europe itself, maybe even the world.
Also interesting to note that it is written on the box Kameleon, but I know for a fact the later models when turned on the deck spelt it as Chameleon.
Also always made me chuckle when it says “See You” when switching off. I always think of a Scottish person saying good bye.

(I’ve been asked many times what the CD is I was playing, FYI it is a very rare limited run CD called French Connection by Kate Ryan, with 2 CD’s in the sleeve, one is a bonus CD, and together are quite expensive, around £50 last time I looked).
