I don't fully understand. I really need help with a simple question. I need to be able to monitor and get alerted to every single thing going through the internet. Seeking a light firewall that has the following capabilities (either to work along side Windows Firewall. Or as an alternative in place of Windows Firewall).

Block every inbound/outbound attempt no matter how minor. Whether from applications or Windows itself.

Alert me for each attempt with option for me to give permissions.

I was considering Comodo. Was wondering if it was capable of this. Or if this is possible to be configured in the default Windows Firewall.

i was running comodo many years ago it was too much for me, too many popups everything trying to connect to internet, and you just end up either researching if you can allow or block or uninstall comodo, it really made me question every single program i installed if its safe or not because comodo popup every time, made me more frustrated than feeling more secure, yes i can go byt the setting by myself that doesn't mean i understand half of the settings

Even without activating HIPS, but having only AV + automatic containment + Virusscope + FW, if you use Comodo Internet Security, is protection still guaranteed?
