House Finches

House Finches have easily adapted to urban areas over the years. Whether you see them at the feeders, or have a pair nesting on a wreath on your door, these birds are a common sight in the bird-feeding hobby. Just because they are common does not mean they do not have an interesting history! Due to many factors, the House Finch is one of the best-studied birds in North America today.
