K-News :Atlus Bankrupt? Plus Armikrog & Cider coming to Wii U

Time for your Nintendo News!

Armikrog has reached it's Kickstarter Goals and will be coming to the Wii U. Armikrog is a point and click Adventure game, done in stop motion using claymation. The game was created by Doug TenNapel the father of Earth Worm Jim.

Sadly, Atlus has declared Bankruptcy, or rather it's Parent Company Index has. What this means for the game developer in Japan and America is unknown at this time. Though after the Summer, it's not looking good. Trust me, I will be heavily looking into this story as it continues to develop.

Yes they picked up Bomberman after Hudson Soft went under.

There's an anime franchise called "Patlabor." A comedy police procedural real robot show.

There's an OVA series, a TV series, and a second OVA series that continues the story from the TV show.

As for the first two Patlabor movies, while they're not particularly gory, they can be rather scary and tense at some parts. They're darker and more serious in contrast to the OVA series and TV show.

Even so, the OVAs, the TV series, and the first two movies have no gore in them.

Yes, XSEED is a video game publisher, but it's a subsidiary of Marvelous AQL (one of the companies behind Muramasa: Demon Blade).
As for Aksys, they have clients with Namco Bandai, XSEED, and Atlus (coming to show that they are affiliated with each other...perhaps).

Level 5 has an excellent thing with Nintendo and have had some success on other platforms too. They should be fine.

it was Rainfall and i provided various voice overs and vids for the cause. Tales was a difficult battle. Not every fan campaign is a success look at Mother 4 or a remake...

YES! I would love that much. The original F-Zero had a comic about Falcon doing that stuff. It needs to happen!

I think the better question to ask goes along the lines of:
"ATLUS's parent company is going bankrupt, how does that make you feel?"
For me its, "WHAT! No way, we can not let this happen. Something must be done." I love the games that ATLUS has brought over seas and I have have never heard anything bad about the company in my 20+ years as a game and game enthusiast, only great things.

Namco could be a good fit. Since they are in Japan. Atlus US is just like an Anime dubbing studio. They don't develop the game, just help it get localized in North America. Like XSEED Games.

They aren't targeting Youtube partners. The claiming for non partners remains. Though the battle isn't over yet.

F-Zero was a great IP and would do well on the 3ds. To test the waters, Nintendo should a 3D remake of F-ZERO 64 with online play!

Aksys is doing a Kickstarter for it's new Guilty Gear game. I don't think they can do anything for Atlus. I actually thought, they were a part of them. I might be wrong. Also, isn't XSEED just a publisher of JP games and not a developer?

As for the F Zero thing, I personally think that us, the fans, should give Nintendo an idea on an F Zero game! Maybe with our help, they'll make another game which would be fantastic!
