First time playing the demo, climbing that pillar and jumping over that gap is how I made it over the summit lol.

Try to start below at the overhang and go directly over to the pillar in one route!

Such a good game, did the same yesterday. I just wish for more precise control over which hands and feet to choose like a button for each, hold it to move. Let it go to grip. The auto selection is often ass and using 2 buttons to select a different one is tedious.

The last time I played Kairn was in 1989 on a 286 PC it was black and white and d&d dungeon crawl

On PC, you can hold CTRL to run (no need to hold W, she just runs forward), and then space bar to jump. She will grab onto the rock. Climbing the pillar/spire, jumping to the main cliff, and then finishinf the cliff climb is a really fun climb to do.

I enjoy the game and find it relaxing, but I think it could be a bit more polished. I get that Ava is an experienced climber, but sometimes she feels too much like Spider-Man, which breaks immersion. How is she able to hold that long onto almost flat surfaces? Other times I’m able to just spam the climb button and move in a certain direction to easily scale a rock face, instead of being precise and calculating every limb move. Obviously, the game isn’t fully released, but this is just what I noticed from playing for the first time yesterday.
