Thank you tremendously! The last option worked, eventhough it took more than five hours, for the download and installation process to finish. By the way, I have high-speed connectivity. I am able to update successfully, and without errors now.

holy fucking shit. i've been trying to fix this issue on and off for literal months. I've looked it up on Microsoft support, other website guides, etc. and NOTHING ever worked. then I found this video...at method three (the fix bat), which I thought was very odd and was worried I would break my computer because I had never done anything like that before and didn't think it would work, it fucking worked. thank you so much! ffs Microsoft, you should just refer everyone to this video instead of trying to "help" us yourselves lol

BY FAR THE THE BEST VIDEO !!! on how to fix this error. I had to go with the last option to refresh windows but it worked. My situation may have been caused by a lightening storm we had weeks ago that knocked out a memory stick and caused some hard drive errors. Those were fixed but that may have corrupted my windows. BACK IN BUSINESS !!! Thank you

Thanks for trying, none of these things were able to solve my issue - I'm really frustrated, I don't know what caused the issue, but I cannot update. I've been working on this for days. I'm about to punt and reinstall. It just says Windows install failed. Super helpful, MS. Thanks again.

I don't have the "run as an administrator option" for the third solution. My search bar doesn't work, my task manager doesn't work, I can't do anything with my laptop at all, there's always an error update

I came to the part where i had to choose upgrade your W10..and when its asking me for what to keep i cant choose to keep my stuff.... only a fresh install and everything gets deleted...uggghh...EDIT: Prob cus installation program says its last updated june 2021...So im then trying to install an older version and therefor im not able to choose to keep my stuff
