The End is Nigh Iceberg Explained

The classical music was actually chosen because the creators of the game thought they would be finished with it quick and wanted something easy to use that didn't require them to get the rights to it. Edmund said something about that during warm_ham's speedrun of the game at AGDQ 2018.

HERE ARE SOME TBOI (The Binding of Isaac) FACTS THAT ARE RELATED TO The End Is Nigh !!!!

1. If you pick up Ball of Tar as most characters, your character will gain an appearance similar to Gish. But if you pick it up as ??? (Who themself is a reference to Edmund’s series of games where you dress up a dead baby), you will have an appearance more like Ash.
2. Dead God is used for the final achievement in TBoI after you get all achievements on your savefile, and considered on of the single best achievements in The Binding of Isaac

If the mega glitch cart thing was real, I am so grateful it wasn't added. Getting an unbreakable super mega cart was painful enough!

I just noticed that one thing is missing in this iceberg. I don't remember where, but Gish shows up as an npc somewhere.

I imagine the Anniversary speedrun category is for anni 1 or 2, since that was when spedrunning was the most alive in the community.

there's anniversary 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6 (4 wasn't made) as mods

the "Anni 1" speedrun category is for the first one, anniversary 5 is a clusterfuck i hosted and decided to turn into an anni mod at the last minute, it's not exactly speedrunnable since there's a lot of open branches and unfinished sections, anni 1 is a linear path of levels you can just run through
