Passengers enjoy a Timber Heritage Association rail speeder car ride near Samoa on Saturday. Originally used for getting the logging crews out into the woods, crew speeder cars were a quick and efficient way to travel. The final 2017 speeder ride will be during the Loleta Antique Show on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., leaving from downtown Loleta.
