Having lived and worked on three continents being a native Swede I think that those who complain about the state of things in Sweden today really need to try the reality of living in a different country and then compare that experience to Sweden, I'm pretty sure most of the complaints will disappear very quickly
That being said Sweden isn't a perfect utopia either but its pretty good all things considered in comparison to most places in the world.

Nice videos, I like your positive energy! Glad you enjoy living in Sweden, and I'm a Swedish guy going to Africa for the first time in January to avoid part of the Swedish winter. Cape Town South Africa to be specific. I've also been looking at visiting Nairobi, have you ever been to Cape Town or Nairobi? Any tips for a Swede who's never been?

Your enthusiasm about living in Sweden is good to hear. Sweden and all other countries in the north of Europe (Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland) have almost the same health care and other social welfare, but it's not cheap to fulfil. It comes also with the responsibility to every citizens to work and paying taxes so we can afford the good health care for everyone even tourists who visit Sweden. We have had even better and cheaper health care in the past but since we joined EU the government need to level it down to Europe level because of the great cost and immigration of people from within EU and outside to use the health care and social care without to contribute with taxes. We have also older people who have much to small pension for there possibility to care for themselves without contribution from the municipality. But enjoy your stay in Sweden and keep up your good spirit. It helps us who living hear in the winter period when it's dark and cold. 😊 🥶

Watching your Swedish food videos not only made me hungry but I also reacted to how you pronounce Tanzania. I follow on Youtube this amazing woman from Holland who rides her motorcycle around the world all alone and when she went through Africa she pronounced Tanzania the same as you, with the stress on the second A. I have always heard Tanzania with the stress on the I. Is your way to say it a regional one? I love languages and things like this really interests me. I'm Swedish and appreciate your videos a lot. By the way, check out the adventures of the woman from Holland and you will be amazed by both her personality and all the wonderful people she meets on her adventures. Her channel is called "Itchy boots". She rides through Sweden in season 3.

What about rent? USA is good with food but not rent, house or doctor bill?

In many countries, nobody wants to pay taxes like in the US. Yes, we have higher taxes in Sweden than in the US (around 33% tax for most), but we also get something for it. In the US you have to pay for health insurance and education, and childcare is ridiculously expensive and there is no paid parental leave. Private schools are also free in Sweden. In the end with all the fees and insurance in the US, they have less left over from the income after everything is paid than in Sweden, especially if you have children considering government financial child support, subsidized childcare and free schools and school meals in Sweden.

Even if you have the worst paid job in Sweden, you can still have your own home and live on your salary if you work full time (40h/week).

Unfortunately, much of the tax money in Sweden goes to support all the refugees who have settled in the country and who do not work. Foreigners are responsible for most crimes, which also burdens tax revenues. About 20% of Sweden's population are non-Swedes and unfortunately most are Muslims from the Middle East who do not accept Swedish values and laws.

So, Robi: What made you come here to Sweden in the first place? Second Question: What do Tanzanians make of your descriptions of Sweden when you talk to your friends back home?

In the 10-ish years I worked in Sweden, not once did I get a tax refund. I always got +- 0. I don't know what people do wrong to not balance their taxes. I did nothing.
