Bill Laimbeer & Robert Parish Ejected for a Whole Lotta Nothin'

November 11, 1988 - This was a reputation ejection. Two seasons prior, Bill Laimbeer and Robert Parish had been involved in one of the most notorious altercations of the modern era, when Parish responded to Laimbeer's clothesline of Larry Bird with a multi-hit combo to Laimbeer's face two games later. As a result, officials were on alert and to be honest, in real time, it looked like more was happening between these two than there actually was. Eh well.

The Pistons won this game 116-107, moving to 5-0.

Actually, Parish and Laimbeer used to have at least one incident each season, going back to the mid-80s.

Laimbeet already knew what parish is capable of. Laimbeer was dodging parish's punch even if no strike made.

Bill was ready for that punch lol. He moved his head out of the way then was like "you ain't gonna throw one?"

Parish would have messed up Laimbeer. Most peeps don't know this, but the Chief is a martial arts practitioner during the season and off season.

Chief's got skills, he would've tore lambeers face up if they didnt separate them.

Pairsh had the drop on Laimbeer. He had mercy because he could’ve laid that guy out.

Kevin should've clothesline him like what he did to Kurt

I loved how Laimbeer was grabbed by a Celtic and Chief was grabbed by a Piston and it was over. Today’s players are acting like thugs choking opponents

This would have been part 2 of the Chief knocking Laimbeer on his ass!

Do you have this game downloaded from Hardwood and Hoops? They took his channel down and multiple others

This was funny because Laimbeer had to do 'something' because that was a peer pressure push by Laimbeer after he got tangled with Chief...he had to respond due to '87 in game 5, and you can see, Parish didn't want to hit Laimbeer like that again but he had to stand up for himself and then he went after Laimbeer because Laimbeer went too far after Parish's restraint...but neither guy wanted to fight, that was a peer pressure situation by both guys.
