Given that a= 10cm calculate the depth of the oil in the container when john pours 800cm of oil into it V = 3√3/4a a= 10, V = 800 cm V = A×l = 800=√3a×d/4 = 800= √(10)×d= 800= 0.433×100×d = d 800/0.433×100=800/43.3= 18.5cm

A = √3a/4×= 3/4- 3/2(two triangles) =>Area of 3 triangles (3a×a)= 9a total Area = √3/2 a+9a= 1/2a(√3+ 18)= 1/2a(3+18)= 1/2(√3+18)= 9.863

(a) the total Fee is related to the number of movies rented v by the equation T= mv+ c - y intercept our equation y = m×+c so to find c go to the graph on the y axis and read out the cutting from 75 so we know c is = 75 the formula for the gradient is M our evaluation y2 y1/×2 ×1 so thereoffore go to the graph and read out any two point if is me I refer two easy point 0, 75 remember label your points so is ( 0×75y) =(180×2, )(400y2)= y2, y1/x2, ×1 = 400-75/180, 0= 325/180= 1.8

Using the graph, fill in the missing values in the table below NUmber of Movies Rented. (V). 0, 30, 50, 124 these numbers showing on the scale of my graph on the y axis so have to read out the answers from the graph on my y axis total free.T (s) 75, 130, 165, 300 thisis on my x axis. Reading the numbers from the graph on my axis

The area of my triangles cross section, in terms of a is √3/4a Note √3/4= 0.433. A = 1/2 ×b×h = 1/2×a×h =1/2×a/1×√3/2= √3a/4

(!!!) At rightstar movie rentals, there is no membership feebut brooke will pay 1.95 to rent a movie for one week. From the two rental clubs would Brooke be able to rent more movie on the same budget? Show calculation to justify your answer T = 1.8v +75= T= 1.8V+75= T 1.8v +75= $1.80cents. = 1.8 +75= 700= 1.8v+75=700= 1.8v 625/1.8= 34.722 maximum of movies is =347. T = 1.8+v 7.5 rightstarT = 1.95v total cost = 700= 700/1.95= v =35.897=V maximum right star 358 and flagship is = 347 so Brooke can maximum from right star which is 358
