Absolute legend. Thanks a lot for this. I was really struggling with the Android side until I found this video! A side note for anyone seeing "Error: Unknown command: cask". Using this: "brew install --cask <the_package_you_want>" should suffice.

Also, for your next content - I would highly suggest you do a tutorial on doing Unit Testing on Nativescript Angular. I just can't find a good example or tutorial about it anywhere :)

This is an awesome video! I am working on Big Sur and the only significant difference is HAXM cannot be installed. I guess this is since Catalina. People recommend something called HVF instead

I'm trying to setup Macbook M1 for Nativescript 8 and followed steps provided on NativeScript doc. I also followed "Additional notes for M1 based machines" but it fails in below setup steps.

sudo arch -x86_64 gem install ffi : Throws error
arch -x86_64 pod install : Throws error

ns doctor says Ok. Any help on this Alex?

It’s really very detailed but I’m getting errors while installing pip in Mac. I have python 2.7 tired to install python 3 still it’s not helping. Do you have any idea about pip install is required for Xcode ?

I purchased a new mac for development and am having issues following this. 2 things stand out a) NS is now 7.x where before I installed 6.5.3 and b) cocoapods will not install under any circumstance when issuing "sudo gem install cocoapods". Maybe the quick install works? About to reinstall the OS and start over - again :( Any ideas?

Six is python scripts 2.7 to python 3
If depedencies scripts in python3 six will be convert to python 2

Started to learn NativeScript but it’s simply put a shit platform with not much support. So it’s gone back in the bin. If you are new to app dev, you might as well start with native dev.
