First off, I have followed you and been a subscriber to your channel for a couple of years now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in the astrophotography realm...much appreciated. Secondly, I know it has been a year since you made this video but if you still have the problem with the process console not returning automatically. When the console is open just click on the "stick" icon on the console panel.
Again thanks for all you do to help make processing easier and fun.

Thanks Again for the tutorial. If I'm using an OSC, can I extract a Luminance layer? Using Extract CIE L* component?

Hello Steve awesome videos enjoy all your tutorials keep it up.. maybe you can help me with this I have a Explore Scientific 102 ED triplet with a Stellarvue 0.8X Reducer Flattener for f/7… my imaging camera is ZWO 1600mm pro, I use 7nm Otpolong filters… Whenever imaging Horsehead nebula I get a bad halo on the star Alnitak especially with my 7nm Oiii.. I know I’ve seen some halos get removed from some pics.. would you know of any other editing techniques I could try? Or does it mean I have to buy a new camera and filters so I won’t get that effect ? Thank a lot Steve

as far as I know curves should be applied BEFORE adding stars into image..
And thats manipulation when You decide which stars should be big and which one not.. This is not astrophotography..
But really cool tip with the noise mask!
