I think it’s the fact that audiences have consistently proved this year *with our wallets* that we want original stories, and an artists vision, both of these were back to back and I don’t know if we’ll see it again. I don’t think we’re appreciating how 10+ blockbusters hardcore flopped, then 2 artists came in and destroyed. It’s a film lovers dream!!

Wether or not Barbie and Oppenheimer is a classic we can rest assured knowing that this video is already a CLASSIC.

Im just so glad people recieved these movies the way they did. This is gonna be a cultural moment we never forget. Everyone showed up and showed out for the movies. That makes me happy

Barbieheimer is definitely one of the best craziest events that ever happened in the entertainment industry, close to Animal Crossing and Doom releasing together.

Both movies are really well done. The acting, cinematography, production design, soundtrack, costume design, everything was great.

Across the Spider-Verse, Barbie and Oppenheimer are probably Top 3 movies of 2023 for now.

this film is incredibly empathetic towards men in a way “male” films are never towards women so seeing so many men misread it is so sad for them

i didn't enjoy the movies as much as i enjoyed how beautiful it was to see friend groups all dressed up making a day of it, like that energy was incredible. you could look at a person and tell what movie they were seeing

the thing i love about this is that it happened organically, no one planned this, and I'm not looking forward to when they clearly try to recreate this and it's a flop. and i agree, after my first watch of barbie, i was like okay this is good, but i have some issues with it, it's not perfect, but on my second watch it was much much better, i love it now

Not even 10 minutes into existing and this video is already an instant classic

Both films are great for different reasons and this moment is something that I never could have dreamed of to happen. I am happy for both films' successes and if I'm Just Ken isn't nominated for an Best Original Song... we ride at dawn.

I saw a post that said instead of Barbie and Oppenheimer being pitted against each other, people came together to celebrate 2 original movies coming out and this means something in the world has healed.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought Barbie is this generations Mean Girls and Clueless 😊

Only Nathan casually returns after 3 months to talk about Barbenheimer, destroyer of Barbie worlds

Barbenheimer is such a weird phenomenon and cultural moment that is going to be interesting to see whether this will mark a change in the industry or will just be a blip on the radar with increasing flops and terrible remakes

Nathan is the Kendrick Lamar of Youtube with this 'dissappearing, reappearing, dropping a classic and dissappearing again' routine

Oppenheimer was brilliant. I wasn't feeling that excited about Barbie, but I ended up loving it. It's a hilarious movie and honestly very touching. Two unforgettable theater experiences for me.

The transition at 1:44 is iconic.
The accent, the reference, the base drop, the title cut
10 out of 10

It’s funny..after seeing Oppy twice, it really is a masterpiece (like this video) and it’s rare that I wanna see a movie 3x in theaters — in IMAX 70MM more specifically. Nolan proves once again why he’s a 🐐

Barbie? Shocked me with how deep it was.. but proved you can make a good movie with just about anything.
I love seeing Greta Gerwig go from Lady Bird to a big budget film + be the first women director to have a billion dollar film.
