'Climate extremists choose sensible target': Met Gala hit with protests

Climate extremists finally chose a “sensible target” as they protested outside the Met Gala where celebrities turned up to the “annual festival of ego and indulgence”, Sky News host Chris Kenny says.

Mr Kenny said it is “one of the paradoxes of our age” that whether it’s climate change, wealth redistribution, identity politics or “so-called gender pay gaps”, you will never find a more “complete infatuation” of the green-left goals than at gatherings of the fabulously famous and wealthy.

“In an unusually perceptive move by climate activists, some protesters cottoned on to this hypocrisy and made a nuisance of themselves outside the Met,” he said.
